They're taking over RetroMania Wrestling!

The Blue World Order (bWo): The Blue Meanie, Stevie Richards, and Hollywood Nova are the latest the three Superstars to be announced for the game.

Formed at ECW's November to Remember 1996 event, the bWo took over ECW as a parody of the New World Order (nWo), and took the wrestling world by storm.

Initially it was just meant to be that, a parody, but the bWo became immensely popular over the coming years, propelling them to be featured in the Main Event of ECW's first pay per view event in 1997 (Barely Legal), where Stevie Richards challenged for the ECW Heavyweight Championship.

Following their run in Extreme Championship Wrestling, the bWo would eventually reunite in WWE in 2005 at ECW One Night Stand. During this time, some highlights included their six-man tag team match at WWE's Great American Bash in 2006, and the Blue Meanie scored a pin over John Bradshaw Layfield!

The Blue World Order joins Tommy Dreamer, the Road Warriors, Zack Sabre Jr, and Austin Idol on the RetroMania Wrestling roster. Who could be next? It was announced that there would be 12-16 Superstars included on the initial roster of the game, and the bWo makes it eight so far!

Stay tuned for additional roster announcements, gameplay clips, and much more in the coming months. RetroMania Wrestling is coming, and the bWo is taking over! Also, be sure to follow us on social media for a bWo-themed giveaway that will run through April 8th.

Austin Idol joins the Road Warriors and Zack Sabre Jr. on the RetroMania Wrestling roster
You may not see much of the Universal Title on Monday Night RAW on a regular basis, but you'll be seeing plenty of the "Universal Heartthrob" in RetroMania Wrestling.

Today it was announced that Austin Idol will be joining the Road Warriors and Zack Sabre Jr. as the newest member of the RetroMania roster. Idol continues to showcase the mix of wrestling Superstars that the game will offer, including classic competitors like he and the Road Warriors, but also today's stars like Zack Sabre Jr.

As the former Heavyweight Champion of Georgia Championship Wrestling, Austin Idol is perhaps best known for his 1980s feud with WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "the King" Lawler in the AWA and CWA territories. On April 27, 1987, Idol defeated Lawler in a Steel Cage Match to capture the AWA Southern Heavyweight Championship.
In today's wrestling scene, Austin Idol recently performed as the manager for the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis. Not only that, but Idol also currently hosts Austin Idol World Wide, his podcast that was relaunched earlier this year.

Soon, you'll be able to take control of Austin Idol in RetroMania Wrestling and battle the likes the Road Warriors, Zack Sabre Jr., and more to be announced in the coming months!

Zack Sabre Jr. won the New Japan Cup in 2018
You've seen him in both Ring of Honor (ROH) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), and now you're going to see him entering the arena in RetroMania Wrestling.

Joining Hawk & Animal of the Road Warriors as the third announced Superstar on the RetroMania Wrestling roster is Zack Sabre Jr.! As the winner of the New Japan Cup in 2018, he was voted as the Best Technical Wrestler in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter for four consecutive years. Also included on his impressive resume in a young career is the PWG World Championship and a victory in 2015 Battle of Los Angeles Tournament.

The 31-year old Sabre Jr. began training with NWA-UK Hammerlock at the age of 14 under the guidance of Andre Baker and Jon Ryan. He's one of the NJPW's top stars today, and outside of the promotion he currently performs for Ring of Honor (ROH), Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), Revolution Pro Wrestling (RPW), and Progress Wrestling (PROGRESS).

Zack Sabre Jr.'s inclusion into the RetroMania Wrestling roster shows one of the many things that will make the game unique, as players will be able to take control of wrestling Superstars from all different eras.

Zack Sabre Jr. and the Road Warriors will be joined by more of your favorite wrestling Superstars over the coming months. Also be on the lookout for more news regarding the game in terms of gameplay, modes, and much more.
